I was smitten by the character of this historic gem! The rooftop deck offered amazing sunset views that made my coffee taste even better, and the French press service in my spacious King Suite felt like a little touch of luxury.

Charming Stay with Delightful Dining

Enjoyed my stay over Labor Day weekend. The room offered a cozy ambiance, but the standout was definitely the on-site restaurant. Breakfast included a perfect Eggs Benedict, and dinner featured gnocchi so flavorful it left me wanting more. Pro tip, explore the local shops nearby.

The hotel is located in a great spot, very close to numerous attractions and shops. The rooftop lounge was a lovely surprise and provided stunning views during sunset, perfect for a relaxing evening. Our room was quite spacious and had charming period-style furniture, making it feel cozy. However, we did miss dinner because several restaurants close early during the week, so be sure to plan accordingly.

We stayed in a King Studio with a cozy fireplace and a private bathroom. The room had a large TV and free Wi-Fi. Freshly ground coffee and tea are provided in the room, which was a nice touch. The rooftop bar offered beautiful sunset views, and the onsite spa was perfect for relaxation.

Room quality varies dramatically based on location. staying in the new building can subject you to noise from 4th street, where trucks frequently rumble by, making it hard to relax. A switch to another room facing other buildings significantly reduced noise, but it is hard to fathom that both options share the same price tag. The bathroom situation is disappointing. the toilet paper felt embarrassingly cheap, akin to a budget motel, and discovering orange mold in the shower grout wasn't ideal. Also, the chaise lounge in the room was too worn to feel comfortable, leaving you wishing for a small table instead. While the historical charm is nice, this place could stand to improve room consistency and the quality of basic amenities.

The food at the hotel was lovely I ordered room service and every bite was expertly crafted by a pastry chef which made the breakfast something else.

I mean it wasn’t exactly a bargain but for the experience it was still pretty acceptable.

The king room was huge. The French press coffee was a nice touch. The breakfast spread was delightful and totally hit the spot. The staff were super friendly. The only thing was, it got a bit noisy at night sometimes.

The king suite provided a cozy retreat with a comfortable bed and a clean, well-appointed bathroom. Room service was generally good, but it missed my tea with dinner, which was disappointing. The sliding door allowed for fresh air, an appreciated touch, though the room view of the water was underwhelming. On a positive note, the French press coffee was a highlight, truly elevating my morning routine.

Exploring the Majestic Inn was a delight. The charming historic ambiance and attentive service stand out. My room in the new section felt modern yet retained vintage elegance. Slight disturbances from nearby nightlife were noticeable, but the overall experience was nice and enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay while exploring Anacortes with our pets! The roof terrace was a fantastic spot to enjoy the sunset after a day of kayaking adventures with the family. Plus, the staff were really accommodating and friendly, making us feel right at home.

For dads, it would be great if the hotel had more kid-friendly amenities for our little ones.

I loved the spacious room and the cleanliness during my stay, and the rooftop access for sunset views was a fantastic perk! I'd definitely return!
